When my wife and I purchased our home Frank and his associate Marcy were beyond helpful ensuring that we were able to close on time. Frank and Marcy are extremely knowledgeable, and their thoughtful and professional guidance throughout this extremely detailed process made my wife and I feel at ease. I am not a millionaire, just an average guy looking for an average home. There are multiple different types of loans, all with different qualifying criteria. My credit is solid, but far from perfect, and I was a little hesitant and honestly a little embarrassed to share the intimate details of some of the past challenges on my credit report. We were required to provide financial documentation that I had to look for, sometimes after regular business hours. However, Frank and Marcy would answer their phones and speak with me. I was surprised at how much documentation I needed to produce, and the technicality of the lending process. Frank and Marcy are extremely knowledgeable and answered all my questions. They explained the process to me, sometimes more than once, to ensure I understood it. Frank and Marcy had questions for us as well. These were thoughtful, purposeful questions designed to gather information about our financial habits. As Frank and Marcy became aware of our personal situation, they were able to provide guidance and gave us sound advice to take advantage of provisions within the particular loan that we were applying for, that would help us qualify. It worked! We have been in our home for just over a year, and Frank has followed up with me several times. He continues to monitor the interest rates to determine if/when we could consider refinancing the loan to save us money. Fine. Paying 1 point to reduce the interest by 0.75% didn't make sense since I plan to hold the mortgage for less than a year.A number of documents were requested in the last week, it would have been much easier to acquire them earlier in the process.
