As a Loan Officer Assistant for Preferred Rate, Zachary’s goal is to educate clients in the mortgage process while finding them the best loan options to suit their needs. Zachary defines clear, transparent and effective communication throughout the loan process as one of the most important elements in a successful loan transaction. With familial roots in real estate, coupled with an educational background in communications, Zachary is committed to making sure customers can make confident financial decisions when choosing to purchase or refinance a home.

Before joining the Preferred Rate team, Zachary obtained a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations and Diplomacy from Ohio State University. While studying, he developed exceptional customer service skills working in the hospitality industry and cultivated marketing and business expertise as a consultant to local and national humanitarian organizations. Zachary was also named a Fulbright Finalist.

Fluent in three languages (English, German, Portuguese), Zachary deeply enjoys meeting new people by exploring distant lands to learn about new ways of life—he plans to obtain polyglot status by the end of 2022!
