I’ve worked with Nicole 4 times in the past 10 years and I would NEVER use another lender. Most recently, I purchased a home from a builder and the rep said they would give substantial new-build concessions, but only if I used their preferred lender. The concessions included a closing credit of 18K, custom blinds throughout the entire 3100 sqft home and all appliances—including a high-end fridge + washer and dryer, which aren’t typically part of the package. I didn’t even blink when I said that I’d never agree to use any other lender except Nicole. When the rep asked why, I told him what I’ll tell you: Nicole is the most competent person I’ve ever met throughout the ENTIRE house-buying process…and I’ve done 8 loans (purchases and refis) in the past 25 years! Nicole is the ONLY person I’ve ever worked with that I trust 100% to do right by me. I work an intense job in IT and don’t have a lot of time or patience for nonsense, and Nicole is all about getting things done in a way that feels transparent, fair and painless. (She is also HILAROUS and SO easy to work with!) It’s crazy to feel the need to say this because I think it should be the case with every lender, but when you work with Nicole, you never have to fear absurdity or gotchas being dumped on you. With my first two purchases BEFORE I met Nicole, I was a naïve, albeit willing, victim of bait and switch lenders where they promised me the world as far as costs and pricing in the beginning…but by closing, they had changed the terms so drastically / confusingly that I was just happy to get through the finish line—even if I was being screwed over financially. (Nicole will NOT do you like this!) I’ll also never forget another the time BEFORE I met Nicole when I used a “Too Big to Fail (TBTF)” bank as my lender. They made me write what felt like a BOOK of letters of explanation, including one for a $60.00 purchase I made online for an URN for my recently deceased dog of 15 years. (No, I was not even close re: my DTI or liquidity on the deal.) Getting loans from other lenders always felt like full-time jobs of explaining myself to, or getting non-answers from, random, faceless, “dumb” email queues. I can only imagine how much worse this has gotten over the years. With Nicole and her team, you will receive prompt, human, INTELLIGENT care and service. Not saying you won’t have to write letters of explanation, but they will not be for nonsense like a $60.00 dog urn from a clearly labeled “URN STORE” on your credit card! And Nicole and her team will NOT tap dance or bait and switch your bottom line. Nicole will be very clear as to what might change, when, and how / why if things do. From my experience, she will be with you every step of the way and there will be no "it's time to close and now you're screwed"-type gotchas or surprises with your money! (Thank you SO MUCH, Nicole!)
