As a veteran I had decided that we would utilize USAA as my preferred lender, however, we had planned on allowing at least 90 days from deciding on which home and a closing date. After touring an open house on 4/12/25 we put in an offer on 4/13/25 not expecting any movement for a week or two, however, the seller's agent advised our agent that no more offers would be accepted after 4/16/25. With no call back from our lender of first choice and the clock ticking, we were referred to Alessandro and Jill at Preferred Rate on 4/14/25. Alessandro and his team immediately began the process and all the while kept us abreast with a detail laymen's explanation of the entire procedure. Their availability extended a bit beyond 9-5 which was much appreciated.
