Initially we chose to finance our mortgage through BofA as we were intrigued by their down payment assistance “Grant”. Long story short BofA denied us for the grant 1 week before closing. Gary and his team took immediate action and we were able to figure out a way to make it work and still close on time. Gary is a professional who completed my mortgage refi with transparency and honesty. He works with high level of integrity, something I didn’t experience with his competitors.I bought a house two years ago and he secured the original mortgage funding. I went with him because his office was attached to my realtors office. I liked working with him, but it was my first house so I had nothing to compare his services to.Two years later, I elected to refinance my mortgage. I decided to shop around because I wanted to get the very best deal on a refinance. When I first made an inquiry online about a refi, I began getting bombarded with lenders from California to Detroit, about 5 phone calls a day for months. These lenders are charismatic, charming, and relentless. I nearly signed two seperate times from lenders like this. One was a rate that was much worse than currently available. I got what seemed like 30 sign now! emails, but when something didn’t feel right, the savvy salesmen I was speaking to for weeks were nowhere to be found. The next loan I almost signed was perfect, but then the closing papers were different than the original I signed. This sneaky lender tried to sneak in a 7,000$ commission fee that wasn’t on the original files I signed.After my two negative experiences of almost getting tricked into a bad deal and three months of answering the phone to hustlers from all across America, I reach out to Gary Krakowski. His honesty and transparency was refreshing after the three months of nonsense I put myself through. His mortgage refinance was a competitive rate and the cost of the refi was less than my monthly mortgage payment.
