About Jim Griffiths

Your mortgage is personal, and I understand that

With 13 years of experience in the mortgage industry, I specialize in conventional and jumbo loan products while maintaining a passion for working with first-time homebuyers. I thrive on helping self-employed clients and navigating complex, highly capitalized deals, finding immense satisfaction in providing expert guidance for both seasoned and brand-new buyers.

My promise to clients is to strive for a “one touch, clear to close” experience every time. I believe every customer deserves seamless, efficient service coupled with mortgage advice tailored to their overall financial goals—not just a standard pre-qualification letter.

Before starting my mortgage career, I served as a Director of Operations at Union Pacific Railroad for 12 years, working in various locations across the U.S. I hold a magna cum laude degree from Boston College. Outside of work, I enjoy model railroading with my 8-year-old son, Henry, attending air shows with my kids, and staying involved in my community.

When I’m not helping clients or enjoying time with my family, you might find me playing with our 14-year-old yellow lab, Lucy, or dreaming of playing golf in Scotland—a bucket list goal. Fun fact: I used to have strawberry red hair as a child, and I recently tackled finishing my own basement during COVID with a friend’s help.

My favorite foods are carpaccio and raw oysters, and I believe life is all about creating meaningful experiences, whether at work, home, or on the golf course someday in Scotland.
