I have been in the mortgage industry 20+years! Starting at age 17 I was in jewelry sales, so I have always had a passion for working with people. I have experienced that if you are genuine to people the “sales” part of it is not difficult. If you help others with what they need, then what you need will come much easier. I chose this industry because it let me continue my passion with helping others while being able to achieve a better work life balance rather than working long hours and every holiday in the retail business. My past clients are amazing, many of them friends of mine now on social media. I was always flattered when many of my past clients would actually reach out to the previous owner of the mortgage company that I was with and told him what a great job I did and how knowledgeable and easy the process was while working with me. That makes it all worthwhile. When I’m not working on mortgages, I am working in my garden or cooking and baking. My friends, family and community love my baked goods including custom cakes and cheesecakes. I guess I always like to be creative, whether it is with business or hobbies. And I can’t forget my dog. I am also an avid animal lover and try to volunteer with my local shelter when possible.
