I’ve been in the mortgage industry for over 30 years, helping families across the country navigate the home loan process with clarity and confidence. Over the decades, I’ve seen markets rise and fall, guidelines change, and technology evolve—but one thing has stayed the same: people need honest guidance when making one of the biggest financial decisions of their lives.

Before entering the mortgage industry, my life was shaped by constant movement as part of a military family. I grew up moving frequently across multiple states and even overseas. That experience taught me flexibility, resilience, and the importance of having a place to call home—lessons that still influence how I serve my clients today.

I didn’t choose this industry because of numbers—I chose it because of people. Growing up in a family that owned homes at nearly every duty station showed me the value of homeownership and how powerful it is to have stability, roots, and pride in where you live. Helping families achieve that same sense of security became something I truly care about.

Communication is everything in this business. I believe clients deserve clear answers, honest expectations, and regular updates, not silence or confusion. I make it a priority to explain each step of the mortgage process in plain English so clients always know what’s happening and what comes next.

My goal is simple:
No surprises, no confusion, and no unanswered questions.

I work best with clients who want to understand the process and make confident financial decisions. Whether someone is buying their first home, building a custom home, refinancing, or investing, I enjoy working with people who value education and want a partner—not just a lender.

Instead, I walk clients through their numbers, options, and long-term plans through my Home Loan Process Meeting so they can make decisions that support their future—not just their immediate purchase. I also stay involved beyond closing. To me, this isn’t just a transaction—it’s a long-term relationship.

The best part of my job is seeing the moment when clients realize homeownership is possible—especially when they thought it wasn’t. Whether it’s handing over keys to a first-time buyer or helping someone save money through refinancing, those moments never get old. Helping people build stability, security, and opportunity through homeownership is what keeps me passionate about this work after all these years.

Family is at the center of everything I do. It’s one of the reasons I care so deeply about helping people buy homes—because a home isn’t just a structure, it’s where life happens, memories are made, and families grow.

Outside of work, I enjoy creating educational content, connecting with friends and family, crafting and watercolor painting, and travel whenever I can.
