Marty began his career in the mortgage industry after graduating from North Central College in Naperville, Illinois. He joined Household Finance in 1986 in the position of Financial Center Branch Manager and was eventually promoted to Regional Sales Manager, V.P..   He then joined Heartland Mortgage/ Home Finance in 1995 as a Regional Manager.  In this role, he was responsible for a network of Branch Offices nationwide with a focus on sales, coaching, training, and recruiting.  During this time, his Region consistently led the company in all production measurables.

During his time at Heartland, he served in several leadership roles which included the successful start-up of the Correspondent Loan Division and managing the Underwriting and Credit areas.  In 2008, Marty had the opportunity to open and operate his own independent mortgage company in the Chicagoland market.

From 2012 through 2020 Marty was a Senior Leader on the management teams at Peoples Home Equity and Parkside Lending, splitting time between Sales Management, Corporate Strategy, and Compensation Management.  Throughout this time, Marty continued to serve his clients and partners as a highly successful Mortgage Loan Originator.

Marty joined Preferred Rate in early 2020 where as SVP, Division Sales Manager  he is responsible for Compensation Management, Payroll Strategies and implementation with a focus on aligning these areas with the corporate profitability models.
Outside of work, Marty enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, fishing, live music, and supporting his favorite Chicago sports teams.
